We all know how much Junk Bonanza‘s founding maven, Ki Nassauer, loves oil and paint-by-number paintings. Her Los Angeles home is filled with castoff oils of unknowns, lovingly plucked from vintage markets and received as gifts.
That’s Ki at JB San Diego in February, where she posed for a new press picture with a painting in the booth of Auntie Nee Nee’s Whimsies!
Here are two portraits that came home with her from that show. Oh, and that very large cat painting…
…it was the centerpiece of Karen Joyce’s Last Vestige booth. That’s Karen in the foreground, with a pair of helping hands up top!
Ki loved that kitty, and continued to eye it as the booth was going together. Her daughter, Taylor, loved it too, but she couldn’t convince the other half of her at-home decorating team that it was a must-have!
In the end, its feline wiles were too much to resist. Kitty came home to Ki, though via Karen’s truck. Ki’s Escape was crammed to the ceiling with Bonanza fare!
Warm Kitty…Soft Kitty, as the tag read, is now at home in LA. Ki thinks she is purrrrrfect!
