Best junk find ever:
I was a jeweler and used to make my product out of broken beach glass and china. I would gather a lot of pieces at an abandoned saw mill on Bainbridge Island, WA. My most precious find was a piece of china that was a lilac transfer from the 1700s. That was a true treasure!
