You knew you were a junker when:
Jess: the first time I saw one of Dad’s lightning rod lamps
Bren: When I was in high school my Dad put a glass top on Grandpa’s huge old Red Wing crock and used it as an end table. Something clicked. I see many uses for old things.

Three words that describe you:
Jess: busy, geek, traveler
Bren: practical, creative, insomniac
Three words that describe your product:
illuminating, repurposed, colorful

If you couldn’t be a junker, you’d be:
Jess: an astronaut
Bren: retired in Savannah
You couldn’t stand to sell it once you found it:
a charcoal portrait from one of the other Junk Bonanza vendors last year
We can barely stand that it’s 53 days until the Bonanza, when we’ll get a chance to ogle Light Reading’s accumulated treasures! Are you counting the days yet?!

  1. My favorite is the London Underground map lampshade. Brings back memories of my cousin and I trying to master the maps while tourgin London. We never did…but still has a great time.
Are you in the same spot as last year? See you at Junk Bonanza.
