We hope to continue ‘junking’ all over the country! Last November we embarked on a nationwide road trip. We traveled the entire perimeter of the United States and collected vintage along the way. We’d love to outfit an old trailer and create a mobile shop to bring with us on these vintage adventures!

You knew you were a junker when…
… we realized that when most couples go to the movies, we thrift!

Best all-time junking find:
A royal blue silk robe from the 1950s with beautifully embroidered dragon details.

You wish you would never have parted with…
… we can’t think of something specific that we wish we would have kept. We love seeing these unique items get swooped up by people who will love and use them again.

Bringing to the Bonanza:
The Moth Oddities vintage collection, comprising clothing and accessories for women and men, circa 1950s – 1980s, collected all over the country! Each item is tagged with its price, size, era and ‘found in’ location, so shoppers can learn a bit of history about their favorite pieces.

You never junk without…
… snacks and bottles of water. We have been known to spend hours junking and thrifting. Digging through old treasures can be tiring! It’s good to have fuel to stave off the ‘hangry’.

In your garage: cars or junk?
A little of both! Yana is fairly organized so even though we may technically be considered hoarders, she tries to store everything for Moth Oddities in our spare room. She likes to think of it as ‘organized chaos’.

No one would ever guess you…
… have college degrees in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota! Not only do we take on freelance design and photography projects on the side, we also use our knowledge of design and marketing everyday in forming our business and branding Moth Oddities.

Your junking holy grail:
That perfectly worn-in leather jacket.
