On your junking bucket list:
65-Mile Yard Sale. Always wanted to take several days and explore. I bet there are awesome finds. Plus it’s located in a different part of the country from my usual stomping grounds here in the Midwest.
You knew you were a junker when…
…I had to start negotiating with my husband, daughter and family during vacations to stop at any vintage/antiques stores (I have radar and will always see the signs). I will trade a 30-minute stop and shop for a fast food lunch of their choice any time!
Sweet little set of German porcelain plates/saucers and cups with yellow and black parrots, which I found for a steal about 15 years ago. I have never seen these anywhere else and I use the plates often for framiy dinners and when we serve special desserts!
You wish you would never have parted with…
…I haven’t parted with anything yet!
Bringing to the Bonanza:
Pillows, pillows, pillows, including my favorite peacock chenille pillows and all sorts of vintage textiles repurposed as (pillows, of course), framed art and slipcovers.
You never junk without…
…hand sanitizer!
In your garage: cars or junk?
Lots of frames, extra furniture pieces, displays for all of the pillows. I guess the answer is junk!
No one would ever guess you…
…remember every junk purchase and $ paid for each item.
Junking makes you feel…
…like more.
Your junking icon:
…My mom.
