Day 3 at Junk Bonanza provided beautiful weather, great junk and lots of fun for attendees, vendors and staff!
Darren Smith of Kansas City radio show “Junk Mafia” was in the house to say hi and shop! The Annie Sloan paint demo area always had something cooking, even when the twice-a-day, hands-on painting demos were not happening! The demos were provided by Unfolded, a distributor for Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan and her line of decorative finishes and products.
We saw a lot of great junk! Love those chairs, with shovels for seats and the seat handle “ladder backs”!
It was a feast for the eyes! Our vendors restock daily, so Saturday was full of great new stuff!
Our Operations Director, Krista Belle Mickelson, was still smiling during load-out!
So were the Picket Fence Gals!
Alex from the Eden Prairie Dunn Brothers at the Smith Douglas More House broke down his coffee bar and setup!
New vendor The Hifi Case packed the custom vintage suitcase boom boxes to head home to Chicago!
Our vendors approach load-out with military-like precision!
It’s hard to say goodbye to good friends! Luckily, we can all do this again, Sept. 24-26! And if you’ve got a thought about traveling, come see Junk Bonanza at its inaugural show in Portland, OR, Oct. 9-11!
Vive le junk!
