With just 46 days until the Junk Bonanza, we are pleased to begin our occasional series of profiles on our new vendors! Today we welcome Rose Mille, home of beautiful and elegant vintage items, whether in decor, fabric, ribbons or millinery!

Owner/founder:
Michelle Rose Jorgensen
Business name/located:
Rose Mille/Stillwater, Minn.
Describe your style in three words:
creative, elegant, vintage
What item or destination is on your junking bucket list?
To ship containers from Europe
You knew you were a junker when…
…I purchased some huge boxes of dishes from a tea salon for $20.
Your best all-time junking find?
The first epic one dropped into my lap. I purchased an entire millinery estate near San Francisco that included over 500 wood hat blocks, thousands of millinery flowers, stock hats, ribbons, trims, beads and fabrics.

You wish you would never have parted with…?
I can’t think of anything; I actually have so much. When I do sell something that I love, I make sure the buyer loves it, too, so no regrets.
Best item you’re bringing to the Bonanza?
Some gorgeous French furniture and, of course, ribbons

You never junk without…?
…Doing my homework and sticking to a budget.

In your garage: Cars or junk?
In my three-car garage: There is one car and lots of projects, including three torn-apart sofas and a  Mora clock from Sweden.
No one would ever guess you…?
…used to work in the defense industry as a data input tech.

  1. I “liked” both Junk Bonanza and Ki Nassauer on Facebook. I would be thrilled to win the early bird tickets. This would be the perfect way to celebrate my birthday with my friend.

  2. I already liked both Facebook pages, so I LOVED them in order to get in the running for the tickets. Yay! Picked up the new issue of FMS at Shop 501 last weekend and I LOVE it, too. Thank you for all you do!

  3. I like, no love, both pages!! Facebook fan and blog fan, have never been yet but would love to come!! I do have my copy of FMS and made some of the jewelry hangers this weekend!!
