Junk Bonanza enjoyed its stint at the Oronoco Gold Rush Days wrapping up today!
The team was out in full force to promote the Bonanza, coming up fast, Sept. 26-28! We were selling Early Bird tickets, too, and if you don’t have yours yet, you can order them here!
Bonanza promoter John Whaley had his head on a lampshade (not a lampshade on his head!)
Ki spent hours talking with fans and junkers about the Bonanza and Flea Market Style magazine, and FleaQuest.com, too!
But, as usual, it’s all about the junk! Some of the things we saw:
chalkware dogs…
metal cars…
a grizzly (not grisly!) with a honeycomb in its mouth!
A pedestal of metal…
old books…
Bonanza vendor Tom Meidl with the coolest arrow…
here it is!
Turquoise stools…
A toy that’s just our type…
a cart filled with collectibles…
and gorgeous patinas!
These junkers were celebrating a birthday!!!
Carved pieces…
Cool signs…
More signs…
Cases that suited!
Bonanza vendor Janice Archer was still smiling!
Santy Claus hitched a ride!
This tarp had $1 items! We loved that!
As always, lots of fun, but only a warmup for the Junk Bonanza! We can’t wait to see you there!

Sigh! Maybe next year again….meanwhile…..dreaming!
ohh I missed the $1 tarp, that would have been fun! It was my first time in Oronoco..a great experience!
