jewelry design. I create vintage, redesigned jewelry; each piece is one of a kind.
Favorite activity besides junking:
Would save if the workshop were on fire:
religious-inspired raw elements and the mannequin
You knew you were a junker when:
I met the JunkMarket Style gals and realized that what I’d been doing all my life fit into the term they coined “junker.”
Three words that describe you:
friendly, creative, detailed
Three words that describe your product:
unique, creative, detailed
If you couldn’t be a junker, you’d be a:
a jewelry designer or personal shopper
You couldn’t stand to sell it once you found it:
A Foshay Tower medal from downtown Minneapolis. The Foshay used to be the tallest building in Minneapolis for years and my Mom, who is no longer alive, would tell me stories of how she and her friends would ride the street car to downtown Minneapolis for 5 cents using a street car token and they’d go to the Foshay Tower, take the elevator to the observation deck and view the city for miles and miles. This Foshay Tower medal as well as a Minneapolis street car token are one day going to be incorporated into a memory necklace in honor of my Mom and then will be my personal keepsake.
There are a thousand great stories, just like this one, to be found and savored at the Bonanza. When you find your treasure, you’ll have yet another to tell!
