Leading off this week’s four vendor profiles is Ann Huffman of St. Joseph, Mo., a first-time vendor and shopper and full-time junker and creator!
Loves all but specializes in: crusty hardware and wire, old books and vintage clothing.
It all started with: “My search for an antique bed back in 2000, though I grew up surrounded by my mom’s wonderful collection of antiques.”
What she’s bringing to the Bonanza: Original tiaras made from old hardware and jewels.
Why a pair of French chairs with heart-shaped backs was her best find ever: “I removed the dusty old needlepoint covers that had been poorly tacked on and sold them for more than I paid for the chairs, then kept the beautiful chairs for my entry hall.”
Can’t junk without: “My Garmin, the GPS system that gets me to all the places on my hunt so I don’t get lost!”
Check the blog tomorrow for a Lucky Friday update! And don’t forget to set your personal navigation systems for the Bonanza in Shakopee, Minn. It’s only 45 days away!
