Junk Bonanza is this week! And whether you are going to be in Shakopee, Minnesota or not, you will want to come back and read the blog! Today’s post features three more first-time vendors – creative individuals and businesses you will want to get to know!

Now, onto the vendors…..
Nelda and Denny Werkmeister are owners of ND MillWerk Salvage & Sales, an old house parts and architectural salvage business. Their business was born out of Denny’s love of old wood and the craftsmanship of years gone by. Their first bid for salvage rights to a house being torn down was just for fun. When they were awarded the bid a hobby was born which quickly evolved into much more when a warehouse became needed for storage!
ND MillWerk will be bringing lots of great hardware, architectural salvage, headers, trim pieces of various patterns and finishes and even some vintage wool rugs to the Junk Bonanza. Oh, imagine the possibilities!
Artist Jami Boldy is the owner of Once Upon a Barn. This first time Junk Bonanza vendor will be bringing signs and paintings painted on reclaimed barn wood, carved barn wood, art on junk, art made of junk and old fashioned ceramics, what she calls “a nice eclectic mix of stuff”. Jami says that different textures inspire a lot of her artwork.
Jami is a part time artist and a full time mom of two!
Lulu’s Upcycling Lounge is a business that happened almost by accident. Born out of owner “Lulu” McGinley’s desire to create things with her hands, Lulu’s recycles materials that were perhaps headed for the landfills – creating scarves, knitted pidge scarves, fashion ear warmers, hair accessories (headbands, ponytail holders and bobby pins) and even upcycled crayons….ok, now I am curious!
