Introducing Fig & Farm, a talented duo with a fun story:
Name:
Kate Dreyer and Dani Watson
Business name:
Fig & Farm
Located:
Coralville, IA and Seattle, WA
Your style in three words:
modern, retro, vintage

On your junking bucket list:

VW Beetle car door in teal blue! I’d die!
You wish you would never have parted with…
…my (painted white) deer skull with 6 point antlers
Best item bringing to the Bonanza:
a footlocker from WWI (made into a table) or a children’s tea set from 1880?
Kate and Dani

The 411:
Dani and I are BFs who used to live in the same town. Then Dani moved to Seattle and we started our junking business in 2013 as a way to fund our plane tickets to see each other! We have a passion for turning junk into treasure with a modro (modern + retro) design aesthetic.
You knew you were a junker when…
…I picked out a broken bird bath out of your neighbor’s garbage (in the middle of the night). Then I fixed up that little gem, painted it in trendy colors and sold it! Note: The neighbor saw the finished product and considered buying it back!
Best all-time junking find:

vintage Coke bottle vending machine
You never junk without…

…an imagination! You’ll never know what you find and you’ll never know what the final product will be.
In your garage: cars or junk?
two cars and one trailer containing all junk!
No one would ever guess you…
…have gone junking in heels!
