You all know Etsy will be in the house during the Junk Bonanza!
The premier online marketplace of hand-crafted and vintage goods will be curating a special shopping experience with vintage goods from seven of its vendors. But that isn’t all they’ve got up their collective sleeve!
Meet Nickey Skarstad!
Nickey, a St. Paul native, is an Etsy seller education specialist. She works to help sellers make their livings running creative, independent businesses. She shares tips on Etsy’s blog, in a biweekly newsletter called Etsy Success (you can sign up for it at the Bonanza and be entered to win a $100 Etsy shopping spree!) and hosts live online labs/workshops!
It’s her job to educate those who want to sell online, and offer encouragement along the way.
So stop in and see her and the team in the Bonanza’s Side Building!

A Bonanza vet, she is looking forward to a repeat performance!
“I had the pleasure of attending Junk Bonanza for the first time in 2011,” she said. “As a fellow vintage seller (see her shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/nickeyvintage/about), and appreciator of any and all things ‘junk,’ it was a wonderful experience.”
And she has a game plan, too:
“You can be sure my suitcase will arrive in Minnesota empty and head back to New York City very full this year. As a Minnesotan (originally from the Twin Cities but working for Etsy in Brooklyn), I especially enjoyed the nice vendors and the Bloody Mary bar.”
Before you belly up to the bar, stop by Etsy and spend some time with Nickey!
