Favorite activity besides junking:
Boating on our small lake with my family

Would save if the workshop were on fire:
My paints. Many of them were color-matched and therefore do not have a name. So if I lose the lid I forever lose the color. Now, that would be devastating.

You knew you were a junker when:

I made my kids sit on top of a headboard/footboard I picked up from the side of the road. It was the only way to get my kids and the newfound treasure home.

Three words that describe you:
Creative, determined, problem-solver
Three words that describe your product:
Must-have repurposed delights

If you couldn’t be a junker, you’d be:

an event planner
When you found it, you knew it would sell immediately:

I usually like to go to flea markets on the last day because that is when I usually can find great deals and on this particular day that is exactly what happened. I saw the beauty strapped to the back of a vendor’s trailer, ready to go back home because no one saw its potential. But I did. I needed to have that piece. I immediately knew what I wanted to do with it and what color it was going to be. I tried not to show my excitement and asked how much. They had no desire to haul her back home and gave me a price I couldn’t refuse. So I brought the neglected wardrobe with its rounded top and detailed legs home. I immediately transformed it into a large cabinet with shelves inside, French stenciling on the doors with antique wooden teardrop handles. I really wanted to keep the piece but was also very excited to bring her to Junk Bonanza because she was my favorite. She sold right away on Thursday during Early Bird. I truly was sad to see her go.
How many of us have been there?!!
Can’t wait to see what other rescued treasures Stacey has transformed for our Bonanza shopping pleasure!
