The Junk Bonanza welcomes first-time vendor Piccadilly Prairie, whose alliterative shop is a junk-lover’s paradise!
Name:
Lacey Brooker
Vendor:
Piccadilly Prairie
Lives in/Business located:
a vintage house with a stone basement and an attic studio/a stripped-down 1920s building in the heart of Southwest Minneapolis

This will be Bonanza vendor appearance:
1!
Specialize in:
Farmhouse chic with a touch of industrial. I especially love making message boards from old window frames. Each one is unique, yet they’re universal in their practicality, and neutral enough to move from room to room!
Find:
Website: piccadillyprairie.com
Facebook: Piccadilly Prairie

Favorite activity besides junking:
globetrotting
Would save if the workshop were on fire:
Ha ha! Probably whichever piece I was working on!
You knew you were a junker when:
My dad and I looked at the same rusty old iron bed frame and he said, “What a piece of junk!” and I said “What a gorgeous bed!”

Three words that describe you:
passionate, abstract, natural
Three words that describe your product:
charming, well-loved, utilitarian
If you couldn’t be a junker, you’d be:
a mime
You couldn’t stand to sell it once you found it:
An amazing wooden cubby of mail slots — complete with number tags — from an old hotel in Grand Marais.
We probably couldn’t stand to sell that, either!
But we will wait, somewhat patiently, to see what Piccadilly Prairie is bringing to the Bonanza!
