The whirlwind of preparations that IS Junk Bonanza has begun! I had the opportunity to meet with Ki earlier this week and it seems everything is falling into place for another great Junk Bonanza weekend – I can hardly wait!

Besides the great shopping and camaraderie, I am really looking forward to meeting so many of YOU – the vendors who have faithfully corresponded with me via email, blogger friends and junkers from near and far who share my quirky passion for all things vintage. Please visit the previous post to get the details on the blogger/vendor/shopper get-together I am hosting Friday evening, September 17 {after the Bonanza closes for the day, of course}.

I have a few more vendors to introduce you to and another guest post coming up this week. So without further adieu, let’s meet two more Junk Bonanza vendors!

Altered Ever After is the collaborative effort of Candyce Martens and her daughter Jill Kerns. Candyce began collecting antiques 25 years ago which eventually led to owning antique malls which inevitably led to her current career as an altered artist and repurposer of vintage findings.

Candyce says her daughter Jill has always been a creative soul and found her true passion about three years ago when she began creating altered art jewelry. Their collaboration results in altered everything – Halloween, windows, assemblages, collages, Witch Ware {which will be featured in Somerset Studio, September 2010}, Steampunk, Found Object and Altered Art jewelry. These and other items such as vintage findings will be available in their booth at the Junk Bonanza!

Memories Whisper Antiques is owned and operated by husband and wife duo, JoAnne and Dick Cogley. This will be their second year at the Junk Bonanza and plan to bring their favorite items – anything weathered, chippy and worn. In addition to doing shows, Memories Whisper operates as a cooperative endeavor in St. Peter, Minnesota, and sells at the Painted Porch in Medford, Minnesota.

Just six, yes 6, days left till Junk Bonanza 2010. Are you ready?

Happy Junking!

Jill
